My Chemical Romance
I Brought You My Bullets, You Gave Me Your Love
Prologue:
Romance

The man stirred on the forest floor, his eyelids heavier than ever. He was thankful of the sleep itself, but the dreams he had been given were simply even more horrible to bear than his actual reality.

He was pathetic, a soul, ragged and worn, who had seen too much in the past few hours. He had been shocked and appalled; the last thing he would have ever expected. It had driven him to pop a few pills in the night, most of which he hoped had been slept off, but there was still a cloudiness, a dreamlike haze that lingered in his mind. He sat up, groggy and dizzy only to find a headache that had been hiding from him. He looked to the ground; the sunlight that was shining through the foliage on the luscious leaves blinded him slightly. The mood was not right now. The night he had spent in the forest had been the most perfectly gloomy atmosphere he needed. Now, the sun was laughing at him. Grinning a horrible grin just to make his life worse. What a great metaphor; she was happier without his happiness...

He sneered as he ran a finger through the dirt.

It wasn’t like she had made him all that happy anyway. All they had ever said to each other were cruel things in between the short gleeful moments of their pitiful relationship. It shouldn’t hurt this much. He should have hated her a long time ago...

...except for the little fact that he loved her...

He leaned forward and buried his face in his hands; that was too true. Even now after what she had done, he still loved her. And it pained him to realize that she didn’t love him enough. At least not anymore...

Snap.

He heard a rustling in the trees and plants before him. To him, the leaves were speaking something, but what? There seemed to be someone walking just ahead...behind that plant. Who in their right mind—he ignored his own presence—would be walking around this far into the woods? Whoever they were, they were silent, making no human noises and hardly moving the branches out of the way.

The man stood, prepared to look through the branches to catch a glimpse of this person. He froze, waiting.

Then the sound of crashing leaves echoing loudly caused him to push the greenness out of the way. And for a moment he saw the figure—who was no more than ten feet away from where he stood—nearly trip over something on the ground, but they quickly steadied and stood up straight and calm. Fragile but strong. A woman. She faced away from him. He sensed she knew he was there, but whoever she was, she was cool about it, not wanting to give it away. And then she did something he was not expecting...

...she turned her head and looked back at him, staring him dead in the eyes.

His legs almost buckled under him. Her eyes held such a force it was almost unbearable. Jesus Christ. No eyes compared to these. He never thought that he would ever say this, but it was so true...

...he fell in love at first sight.

Her eyes widened at the sight of him; whatever she was thinking, the man did not care. The eyes shone with an innocent wisdom that he had never before seen. And though they seemed slightly frightened, those eyes were kind. They were dark, but sparkling with a light. Her brown hair was let loose, not wildly, and yet so free, perfectly framing the face that held those eyes. It reached down to her mouth...the cutest lips in the world it seemed. And while no smile appeared on her lips, he knew hers held the sweetest and most amazing smile imaginable. She was perfect. She was dragging him in, causing him to weaken in the knees more and more. A name, a name. Ask her for her name. But he couldn’t bring sound to his lips; he couldn’t break the silence. Time had stopped for an instant. An instant that would change more than just his own life.

Her eyes were the butterfly’s wings that started the hurricane.

But the man did not know that. All he knew was he loved her.

Then she turned back, her eyes still widened, and continued to make her way through the woods, almost as if she did this everyday. And before he could unfreeze his legs, she was gone.

He stumbled backward into the tree he had been sleeping under and fell back against it, sitting on the ground. Drained. He felt an untamable desire to sleep again. To dream.

And he could not refuse it.
I'll just explain this now...

I'm writing a series. ^.^

Now I know I'm obsessed...shuttup...but here's the scoop:

The series is called My Chemical Romance.

So far there will at least three books: I Brought You My Bullets, You Gave Me Your Love; Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge; and The Black Parade.

Each book shall be based/inspired from each the three albums that MCR has recorded. Each chapter shall be named after each track...and will be based off of the lyrics to each of the songs. And somehow...it will turn into a huge story...thing.

Now I didn't put this under FanFic because while it sort of is...it's also...not. Yes I'm inspired by MCR and yes I shall use elements of the concept albums in there...but this is my work. I've been panning on it for a while.

[PLEASE DO NOT REFUSE TO READ THIS BECAUSE THIS IS BASED OFF OF MCR]

^_^ It's a story...not just any old FanFic.
